the hidden edit
Melbourne, Australia
what was hidden,
now revealed
A fine art print archive reimagining stories of identity, love and transformation that should have always existed. Directed, not generated.
The origin
i learned to edit myself
Growing up, my bedroom was a sanctuary. It was also a prison.
A space to be fully myself. To express, create and feel everything I was too scared to show outside. The parts that felt most alive within those walls felt impossible beyond them.
Like many, I learned to edit myself. I performed a version that felt accepted, and I told myself the most alive parts were gone forever.
They were not gone. They were waiting.
the hidden edit is what came back. Not just beautiful images. Stories of identity, love and transformation given form at last. Every visual is a moment that never happened but could have, sitting somewhere between memory and invention.
Volume one
the collections
Each collection opens a different world where people did not have to edit themselves to fit in.
Midnight Hammam
Where steam holds secrets.
An ancient room that holds what cannot be said anywhere else.
Club Echo
Where masks fall and music sets us free.
The moment the performance stops and something truer surfaces.
Safe Words
True power lies in the choice to surrender it.
Power offered rather than taken. Trust as the only currency.
Siren & Surfer
They knew how it ended. They did it anyway.
Two worlds meeting at the only edge where that is possible.
I Still Remember
A forever summer, warped by time.
A love replayed so often that its edges have begun to blur.
Lunar Lasso
When the moon calls, something wild answers.
The moment identity stops performing and starts becoming.
Volume two, Ghost Signal, is in development.
The method
director, not prompter
A photographer does not make light. A filmmaker does not build the locations. They make decisions about composition, timing and emotional truth, and the medium executes. I work with generative AI the same way.
Every visual begins with a feeling. A posture. A tension. A story that should exist but does not. I direct body language, lighting, texture, mood and the weight of a glance, then refine across hundreds of iterations until it stops being a result and starts being a moment.
This is AI-directed, not AI-generated. The AI does not hold the concept. I do. That is the work.
The tool is AI. The eye is mine. The heart is mine.
In his words
lines to quote
I thought the most creative parts of me were gone forever. Then I found a way back in. Not a shortcut. A key.
There is a difference between generating an image and directing one. Every visual starts with a feeling I cannot yet see, and I keep going until it stops being a result and starts being a moment.
Representation does not have to be documentary to be meaningful. Imagining the world that should have existed, and making it visible, is its own kind of truth.
For those who had to hide, this is your archive. Enter proudly. Stay as long as you want.
