An Archive for What Could Have Been

What if you could hold a memory that never happened, but aches like it did?

The Hidden Edit is a visual archive of forgotten potential, a world where we don't have to edit ourselves to fit in.

An excavation and reimagination, giving form to the creative selves we once had to hide.

What was hidden, now revealed.

The Origin Story

Growing up my bedroom was a sanctuary but it also became a prison.

It was a space to be fully myself — to express, dance, create and feel everything I was too scared to show outside.

But the parts that felt most alive within those walls, the loud, the queer, the vulnerable, felt impossible beyond them.

Like many, I learned to edit myself. I abandoned my creativity and self-expression, performing a version that felt accepted. I thought the most alive parts of me were lost forever.

Then I discovered generative AI.

AI didn't replace my creativity, it unlocked it. I could finally create the way my brain actually works: seeing, feeling, directing. Not forcing techniques I'd never master, but returning to what I'd always done as a kid, building worlds from imagination.

AI gave me back what I'd silenced, transforming self-editing into self-expression.

The Hidden Edit isn't just beautiful images, it's emotional archaeology. Reimagining stories of identity, love, and transformation that should have existed.

Every piece is a moment that never happened but could have, existing between memory and invention.

The Process

I don't input "two hot men in a club" and hope for the best. I direct every detail, refining and iterating, sometimes hundreds of times, until the emotional truth is revealed.

Body Language
'Figures suspended between worlds. One emerging, one submerging.'

Lighting & Texture
'Iridescent refractions. Depths graduating from turquoise to unknowable darkness.'

Mood
'Gazes holding recognition of incompatible natures choosing connection anyway.'

Representation doesn't have to be documentary to be meaningful. Sometimes imagining the world that should have existed, and making it visible, is the most powerful thing we can do.
